Client Interaction: Meeting with clients to understand their vision, requirements, budget, and timelines.
Design & Planning: Developing conceptual designs, creating blueprints, and using software for 2D and 3D drawings.
Project Management: Managing the entire project lifecycle, coordinating with other professionals, and ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget.
Documentation: Preparing detailed specifications, construction documents, and work contracts for subcontractors.
Site Supervision: Visiting construction sites to monitor progress, interpret plans, and ensure work aligns with the architectural design.
Compliance & Regulations: Ensuring designs and construction adhere to safety standards, building codes, and local planning regulations.
Feasibility & Impact Studies: Researching and compiling reports on the feasibility and environmental impact of proposed projects.
Skills And Knowledge Required
Skills And Knowledge Required
Accredited Degree in Architecture from recognised instituition of higher learning and registered with Board of Architecture Malaysia.
Priority is given to candidates with at least (10) years of proven related experienced with minimum of 3-5 years in a architecture role.
Sound knowledge and evidenced experience in the planning and coordination of projects with various level of complexity.
Ability to develop creative design solutions, translate concepts into functional designs, and understand architectural theories and philosophies.
Mastery of architectural software, particularly Revit and other BIM (Building Information Modeling) platforms like BIM360, to produce detailed construction drawings.
Excellent client-facing, communication and negotiations skills and is able to work well with various level of stakeholders.
Strong command of Bahasa Melayu and English, both written and spoken, and is able to develop effective reports and presentations.
Knowledge of local building regulations, construction materials, environmental considerations, and building services to create compliant designs for local authority submissions.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team of engineers, IT experts, and other consultants.
Experience in preparing and reviewing technical documentation, design presentations, and detailed construction drawings.
