Site Engineer / Civil Engineer

Project Planning and Management: Analyzing plans and surveys to develop project plans, estimating costs and material needs, and developing work schedules. 

Site Operations: Setting out the physical site according to plans, organizing materials, tools, and equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Technical Oversight: Checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy, providing technical advice and solutions for problems that arise on-site. 

Quality Control: Inspecting work and materials to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards, and performing quality assurance tests. 

Team Supervision: Supervising construction crews and contracted staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient use of labor. 

Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with clients, subcontractors, architects, quantity surveyors, and project managers to coordinate activities and resolve issues. 

Safety and Compliance: Enforcing health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with safety legislation and building codes, and conducting safety inspections. 

Reporting and Documentation: Preparing daily site reports, logging progress, and documenting any issues or delays for project management and future reference. 

Accredited Degree in Civil Engineering from recognised instituition of higher learning and registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia.

Priority is given to candidates with at least (10) years of proven related experienced with minimum of  3-5 years in a civil engineering role.

Sound knowledge and evidenced experience in the planning and coordination of projects with various level of complexity.

Experience in utilizing engineering software such as MX Road, Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAd and Microsoft Excel will be an added advantage.

Excellent client-facing, communication and negotiations skills and is able to work well with various level of stakeholders.

Strong command of  Bahasa Melayu and English, both written and spoken, and is able to develop effective reports and presentations.

Ability to recommend preventive and corrective actions to address potential risk i.e project delays, challenges and issues for development of project schedules.

Ability to develop effective methods to track project and financial project progress for various projects at a time.

Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply as well.

Ability to project deliverables and resources that are specific,  measurable and attainable with accurate timeline.

Possess a strong sense of urgency and is able to work independently or with minimum guidance to meet tight timelines.
